About the Role

Our client, a major player in the telecommunications industry, is seeking a meticulous and analytical Telecom Billing Systems Analyst to join their team in Mahikeng . You will be responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing the billing systems, resolving issues, and supporting the end-to-end billing lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

• Administer and configure the telecom billing system , including product catalog, rating rules, and customer accounts.
• Analyze billing data to identify discrepancies, errors, or opportunities for optimization.
• Process and validate billing runs, ensuring timely and accurate invoice generation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve billing-related issues, collaborating with finance, customer service, and IT teams.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor billing system performance and key metrics.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new billing features and functionalities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with billing systems, preferably within the telecommunications sector.
• Strong understanding of billing processes, revenue assurance, and subscription management.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing tasks both remotely and in the Mahikeng office.
