About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and experienced Online Curriculum Developer with a specialization in STEM subjects to join their remote team, based conceptually near Durban . This role is crucial in designing and developing engaging, interactive, and effective online learning modules for secondary and tertiary students. You will leverage your expertise in instructional design and subject matter to create content that is both pedagogically sound and technologically innovative. This is a fully remote position offering the flexibility to work from anywhere, contributing to a global educational platform that aims to make quality STEM education accessible to all.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging online courses and learning materials for various STEM disciplines.
• Incorporate interactive elements, multimedia, and assessments to optimize the learning experience.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and pedagogical effectiveness.
• Utilize learning management systems (LMS) and authoring tools to build and deploy curriculum.
• Stay current with trends in online education, instructional design, and educational technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field, Education, or Instructional Design.
• Proven experience in curriculum development, specifically for online or e-learning environments.
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and LMS platforms.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
