About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and proactive HR Officer to manage recruitment and onboarding processes in Polokwane. This role is crucial for ensuring a steady flow of talent into the organization and providing a welcoming and efficient onboarding experience for new hires. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and execute effective recruitment strategies, as well as facilitate a smooth transition for new employees into their roles. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to specialize in talent acquisition and employee integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing candidates, screening applications, and coordinating interviews.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and advertising platforms.
  • Prepare and extend job offers, ensuring all pre-employment checks are completed.
  • Design and implement effective onboarding programs for new employees.
  • Conduct onboarding orientation sessions and ensure new hires have the resources they need to succeed.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment and onboarding records in the HR Information System (HRIS).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in HR, with a strong focus on recruitment and onboarding.
  • Familiarity with various recruitment sourcing tools and techniques.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with HRIS/ATS platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
