Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to lead their FP&A function in East London . This role is instrumental in driving financial strategy, providing critical insights into business performance, and ensuring robust forecasting and budgeting processes. You will manage a team of analysts, collaborate closely with senior leadership across departments, and play a key role in shaping the company's financial future. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the annual budgeting process and develop rolling forecasts to support business objectives.
• Conduct variance analysis, identifying key drivers of performance and providing actionable recommendations.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and scenario planning.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for executive management and the board of directors.
• Lead and mentor the FP&A team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Partner with business units to understand their financial needs and provide strategic support.

Requirements

• MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; CFA or CMA designation is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, and management reporting.
• Proven leadership experience managing a finance team.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling techniques, and ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
