Hotel Restaurant Manager

RESTAURANT MANAGER | STELLENBOSCH

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Restaurant Manager to take the lead in a dynamic, high-end hospitality environment where food; wine, people and exceptional guest experiences are at the heart of everything.

We’re looking for a hands‑on leader who can drive daily restaurant operations, inspire a high‑performing team and ensure outstanding service standards while keeping a strong focus on profitability; cost control and operational excellence.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Leading and developing the restaurant team
• Driving exceptional guest experiences and service recovery
• Overseeing daily restaurant operations, functions & events
• Managing stock, costs, revenue and operational budgets
• Ensuring strong cash, compliance and administrative controls
• Coaching and developing team members through hands‑on leadership
• Maintaining consistently high quality, hygiene and service standards
• Working closely with other operational departments to ensure a seamless guest experience

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Minimum 5 years’ F&B experience; including 3 years in management
• Hospitality qualification advantageous
• Strong financial and operational acumen
• Passionate about food & wine
• WSET/CWA qualification desirable
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
• A genuine passion for guest service and team development
• Hands‑on, energetic and solutions‑driven
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, including weekends & public holidays
