About the Role

Our client, a dedicated non-governmental organization in Klerksdorp, is seeking a highly organized and efficient Operations Manager. This critical role involves overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the organization, ensuring that resources are managed effectively to support program delivery in the North West province. You will be responsible for optimizing processes, managing facilities, and ensuring compliance with regulations, thereby enabling the organization to maximize its impact and reach. This position requires a proactive individual with strong logistical and management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the organization's daily operations, including administration, logistics, and facility management.
• Develop and implement efficient operational policies and procedures to support program goals.
• Manage procurement processes, vendor relationships, and inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and organizational policies.
• Oversee the management of organizational assets and resources.
• Supervise administrative and support staff, fostering a productive work environment.
• Develop and manage operational budgets, monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role, preferably within the NGO or charity sector.
• Strong understanding of organizational management, logistics, and financial administration.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in project management and process optimization.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements relevant to NGOs.
• Familiarity with the Klerksdorp operational environment is advantageous.
