Remote Construction Scheduler - Infrastructure

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Remote Construction Scheduler specializing in infrastructure projects. This position is fully remote, allowing you to contribute to significant civil engineering and infrastructure developments from your home office. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed project schedules, ensuring resource availability and identifying potential delays. This role is crucial for project planning and execution, requiring strong analytical capabilities and excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with distributed project teams across various locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules for large-scale infrastructure projects using industry-standard software.
• Analyze project progress, identify critical paths, and forecast potential schedule risks and impacts.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to gather schedule updates and ensure accuracy.
• Develop resource-loaded schedules, including labor, equipment, and materials.
• Prepare schedule progress reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
• Assist in the development of recovery plans and scenario analyses for schedule deviations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction scheduling, with a focus on infrastructure projects .
• Proficiency with scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods, and project management principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote setting.
