About the Role

Our client seeks a diligent and organized Property Manager (Residential) to oversee a portfolio of residential properties in Pretoria . This role involves managing tenant relations, property maintenance, rent collection, and ensuring compliance with all landlord-tenant laws. You will be the primary point of contact for tenants and owners, balancing their needs while protecting the asset's value. The position requires a blend of on-site property inspections and administrative tasks, offering a dynamic work experience within the vibrant Gauteng real estate market . We are looking for someone proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of property management and tenant satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of residential properties, ensuring smooth functioning and tenant satisfaction.
• Oversee rent collection, process payments, and handle late payments according to company policy.
• Coordinate and schedule property maintenance and repairs, liaising with contractors and service providers.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with lease agreements and identify any issues.
• Screen prospective tenants, manage lease agreements, and handle tenant move-ins and move-outs.
• Respond promptly to tenant inquiries and resolve issues effectively and professionally.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential property management .
• Solid understanding of landlord-tenant laws and property management best practices in South Africa .
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in property management software and standard office applications.
• Ability to handle emergencies and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for property visits.
