Job Opportunity - Administrator
Location: Kempton Park, Gauteng
Salary: R 12 000 - R 15 000 per month (depending on experience)
Job Purpose
The Administrator is responsible for providing efficient administrative and organisational support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the business. The role involves managing office procedures, maintaining records, coordinating communications, and supporting internal teams with administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Provide general administrative support to management and staff.
- Manage and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other business documents.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and telephone enquiries.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events.
Office Management
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when required.
- Ensure office equipment is functioning and coordinate maintenance or repairs.
- Assist with office policies and procedures implementation.
- Support the organisation of company events and meetings.
Data Management
- Capture and update data accurately in company systems.
- Maintain employee, customer, supplier, and company records.
- Generate reports as requested by management.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection requirements.
Communication & Coordination
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate communication between departments.
- Follow up on actions arising from meetings and projects.
- Assist with client and customer correspondence.
Financial Administration (if applicable)
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims.
- Assist with budget tracking and record keeping.
- Support finance teams with administrative tasks.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field is advantageous.
Experience
- Min 3 years' experience in an administrative role.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience working in a professional office environment.
Knowledge & Skills

- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
