Clinical Research Associate (CRA) - Pharmaceutical

Our client is seeking a skilled Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to support their pharmaceutical clinical trials based in Pretoria . You will be responsible for monitoring clinical trial sites, ensuring compliance with protocols, and collecting accurate data to support drug development. This role requires extensive travel to investigational sites within Gauteng and potentially beyond. It's a vital position within the drug development lifecycle, offering a chance to make a significant impact on bringing new medicines to patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits according to the clinical trial protocol and GCP guidelines.
• Ensure the rights, safety, and well-being of trial participants are protected.
• Verify the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of clinical data collected at study sites.
• Maintain effective communication with investigators, site staff, and the internal study team.
• Oversee site adherence to the study protocol, SOPs, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Manage essential trial documents and site regulatory binders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent monitoring skills, including source data verification and query resolution.
• Proficiency in clinical trial management systems (CTMS) and electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Pretoria and surrounding areas for site visits.
