About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled Operations Manager to lead their Technical Services department in Polokwane . This role requires expertise in managing operational workflows, ensuring efficient service delivery, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction within a technical environment. You will be responsible for overseeing the technical team, managing resources, and implementing operational improvements to enhance service delivery. The hybrid model allows for on-site supervision of technical operations and team management, combined with remote capabilities for planning, reporting, and client communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the technical services department.
• Ensure the efficient delivery of technical support and services to clients, meeting service level agreements (SLAs).
• Manage a team of technical specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices to improve efficiency and service quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, with a focus on technical services or IT operations.
• Proven experience in managing technical teams and service delivery operations.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and technical support processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
