About the Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Graduate HR Assistant to support their Human Resources department in Upington . This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in people management to gain practical experience across various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration. You will work closely with the HR team, providing essential support to ensure the smooth operation of HR processes and contributing to a positive employee experience. This role in Upington offers a solid foundation for a career in Human Resources, providing exposure to diverse HR challenges and professional growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting jobs, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding of employees.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in the HRIS.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, such as preparing correspondence and reports.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement initiatives and training sessions.

Requirements

  • A degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Understanding of HR principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
