Automotive Service Advisor - Hybrid Role

About the Role

Our client is looking for an engaging and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join their team in Centurion . This hybrid role offers a dynamic blend of in-person customer interaction and remote administrative tasks. You will be the primary liaison between customers and the service department, expertly guiding clients through vehicle maintenance and repair processes. Your ability to communicate technical information clearly, build strong customer relationships, and manage service appointments efficiently will be key to your success. This position provides a unique opportunity to blend client-facing responsibilities with the flexibility of remote work for certain administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, actively listen to their concerns, and accurately document vehicle service needs.
• Inspect vehicles with customers to identify potential issues and explain recommended services and repairs clearly.
• Provide accurate estimates for labor and parts, and obtain customer authorization for work to be performed.
• Manage the service schedule, coordinating with technicians and parts departments to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Maintain open communication with customers throughout the service process, providing updates on progress and any changes.
• Handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally, resolving issues to ensure a high level of satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing automotive role.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems, maintenance schedules, and repair procedures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in using dealership management systems (DMS) and basic computer applications.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to adapt to a hybrid work model, balancing on-site and remote responsibilities effectively.
