Project Manager - IT & Digital

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead IT and digital transformation projects in Mahikeng, North West . This role is critical for guiding the development and implementation of innovative technology solutions that drive business growth and efficiency. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of IT systems, digital strategies, and agile methodologies, coupled with exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills to deliver transformative projects within the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT and digital projects within scope, time, and budget constraints.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and budget control.
• Facilitate collaboration between IT teams, business units, and external vendors to ensure project success.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement timely corrective actions.
• Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes effectively to all stakeholders, including senior management in Mahikeng .

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field; PMP or Agile certification is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience managing IT and digital projects, preferably in the North West province.
• Proven track record of delivering complex technology solutions and digital transformations.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and digital platforms.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
