About the Role

Our client seeks an experienced and dynamic Ground Operations Supervisor to lead their ground handling teams in East London . This crucial role involves overseeing all aspects of ground operations, including aircraft turnaround, baggage handling, cargo, and passenger services, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance. You will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating resources, and upholding the highest service standards. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of ground handling crews, including ramp agents, baggage handlers, and equipment operators.
• Ensure the safe and timely turnaround of aircraft, adhering to all operational procedures and safety regulations.
• Manage equipment deployment and maintenance schedules to support ground operations.
• Train and mentor ground staff, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and teamwork.

Requirements

• Proven experience in airport ground operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
