About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Intellectual Property Lawyer to lead their IP practice in a fully remote capacity. This role is crucial for safeguarding the company's innovations and intellectual assets. You will be responsible for developing and executing IP strategies, managing patent portfolios, and advising on trademark and copyright matters. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of IP law, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a virtual setting, contributing to the company's competitive edge through robust IP protection and enforcement globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive intellectual property strategies, including patent, trademark, and copyright protection.
• Manage the filing, prosecution, and maintenance of patent applications worldwide.
• Conduct freedom‑to‑operate analyses, patentability assessments, and infringement investigations.
• Advise on IP licensing, joint ventures, and technology transfer agreements.
• Represent the company in IP‑related disputes, including litigation and administrative proceedings.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law with a minimum of 8years of specialized experience in Intellectual Property Law .
• Proven track record in patent prosecution, IP strategy development, and IP portfolio management.
• Strong understanding of patentability requirements, infringement analysis, and IP litigation.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage IP matters effectively in a remote work environment.
