About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent Electrical Maintenance Technician to maintain and enhance the electrical systems and equipment at their facilities in Klerksdorp . This role is essential for ensuring the reliable and safe operation of our client's industrial processes. You will be responsible for diagnosing electrical issues, performing repairs, and conducting preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize performance. This is a key position for a qualified technician looking to contribute significantly to operational efficiency and safety in the North West province.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, and maintain electrical equipment, including motors, control panels, transformers, and switchgear.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques, identifying root causes and implementing timely repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to guide repair and installation work.

Requirements

• Qualified Electrician or Electrical Technician with relevant trade certification.
• Proven experience in industrial electrical maintenance, including low and medium voltage systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuit protection, and control systems.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and insulation testers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
