RSA - FCM Senior Travel Manager - Johannesburg & Cape Town

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Join our team as a Senior FCM Travel Manager, where you’ll play a critical role in delivering exceptional corporate travel management services for a prestigious client portfolio. You’ll manage complex domestic, regional, and international travel arrangements while ensuring seamless customer experiences, policy compliance, and cost-effective travel solutions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and coordinate domestic, regional, and international business travel arrangements.
• Manage complex itineraries, including multiple destinations, visas, and special accommodation requirements.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining attention to detail and travel industry knowledge.
• Support and promote customer online adoption initiatives.
• Service, retain, and grow the client portfolio while maintaining exceptional service standards.
• Manage quoting, booking, finance‑related queries, complaints, and travel documentation.
• Ensure all client enquiries are actioned within agreed SLA requirements.
• Provide accurate quotes, confirmations, and travel documentation within required turnaround times.
• Resolve client queries efficiently and professionally.
• Adhere to One Best Way processes and procedures.
• Balance competing priorities and tight deadlines while maintaining service excellence.
• Drive customer engagement, loyalty, and retention initiatives.
• Ensure all business travel remains organised, compliant, and cost‑effective.
• Work rotating shifts between 08:00 and 20:00 (08:00‑16:00, 09:00‑17:00, 10:00‑18:00, 11:00‑20:00) based on business requirements.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Matric.
• South African Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Minimum 6+ years' experience in corporate travel.
• Senior Travel Consultant experience.
• 5+ years' Amadeus experience (Command & Graphic).
• International and regional air and land booking experience.
• Expert understanding of fares, ticketing, and complex air travel arrangements.
• Relevant travel qualification advantageous.
