About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Project Manager to lead key public sector initiatives in Mahikeng, North West . This role is crucial for the successful implementation of projects that serve the community and enhance public services. You will manage the entire project lifecycle, from strategic planning and stakeholder engagement to execution and delivery, ensuring projects meet public needs and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has experience working within or closely with government entities, possesses strong organizational and communication skills, and is committed to driving positive change and efficient service delivery within the public sphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of public sector projects, defining scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines, ensuring compliance with governmental regulations and policies.
• Coordinate with various government departments, community stakeholders, and service providers.
• Identify and manage project risks, ensuring successful and timely project completion.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management , with a focus on public sector or community development projects.
• Proven experience in managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong understanding of public sector procurement and project governance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
