About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and physically capable individual to join as an Apprentice Boilermaker in Richards Bay . You will learn the essential skills of fabricating, assembling, and installing boilers, tanks, pressure vessels, and other large metal structures. Working under the guidance of experienced boilermakers, you will gain hands-on experience with various tools and machinery, adhering strictly to safety protocols. You will be an integral part of a team contributing to vital industrial infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the fabrication and assembly of metal components for boilers, tanks, and pressure vessels.
• Learn and operate tools and machinery used in boilermaking, such as welders, cutters, and grinders.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Perform cutting, shaping, and fitting of metal materials.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
