About the Role

Our client, a well-established automotive service center in Port Elizabeth , is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team as Apprentice Automotive Technicians. This is an excellent opportunity to launch a career in the automotive industry, learning to diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of vehicles. You will work closely with experienced technicians, gaining practical skills and knowledge in a supportive and professional workshop environment. Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians in performing vehicle diagnostics, inspections, and routine maintenance.
• Learn to identify and repair mechanical and electrical issues in various vehicle systems.
• Perform basic service tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly handled and stored.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and workshop procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Document all work performed and parts used accurately on service orders.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent, with a strong interest in automotive mechanics.
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• A valid driver's license is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new automotive technologies and repair methods.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and follow instructions from senior technicians.
