About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Industrial Engineer to support their operational teams in Stellenbosch. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing current manufacturing and operational processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Support the data collection and analysis efforts for process improvement projects.
• Help in the implementation of minor process changes and workplace organization initiatives (e.g., 5S).
• Participate in Kaizen events and team meetings focused on enhancing productivity.
• Assist in developing standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Learn and apply industrial engineering principles under mentorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
• Foundational knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean basics).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
