About the Role

Our client is seeking a vigilant Telecoms Network Security Analyst to join their fully remote team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our client's telecommunications infrastructure against cyber threats. You will monitor network security, identify vulnerabilities, and implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure service continuity. This position requires a proactive and analytical mindset, coupled with deep expertise in network security principles and practices. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network traffic and security logs for suspicious activities and potential threats.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on telecom systems.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls to protect the network.
• Respond to security incidents, investigate breaches, and coordinate recovery efforts.
• Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats and telecom security trends.
• Configure and manage security tools, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in network security, preferably within the telecommunications sector.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and common attack vectors.
• Hands-on experience with security technologies like firewalls, SIEM tools, and endpoint protection.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CCNA Security are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
