Senior Chemical Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chemical Engineer to join their innovative team. You will be instrumental in driving process improvements, designing new chemical processes, and ensuring operational efficiency and safety across various projects. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes and equipment for new and existing products.
• Conduct feasibility studies, process simulations, and pilot plant trials to validate process designs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex operational issues in chemical manufacturing environments.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, operations, and project management, to achieve project goals.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of best practices within the engineering discipline.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in chemical process design, development, and optimization.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and CAD tools.
• Strong understanding of chemical thermodynamics, reaction kinetics, and fluid mechanics.
• Demonstrated experience in project management and leading technical initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a proven ability to work independently and remotely.
