Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies and policies to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs across the organization.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a global team of procurement specialists, setting clear performance objectives and fostering a collaborative remote work environment.
• Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and potential risks within the supply chain.
• Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, from requisition to payment, ensuring timely delivery and quality assurance of all procured goods and services.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to understand their needs and ensure procurement solutions meet business requirements effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in purchasing and procurement, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful purchasing strategies that resulted in significant cost savings.
• Strong understanding of global supply chain management, contract negotiation, and risk assessment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage remote teams effectively.
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems; experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
