HVAC Installation & Maintenance Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated HVAC Installation & Maintenance Specialist to join their growing team in Cape Town . This role involves the installation, servicing, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial properties across the Western Cape. You will play a key part in ensuring client comfort and operational efficiency by delivering high-quality workmanship and responsive technical support. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a commitment to safety, and a customer-centric approach, contributing to the overall success of our client's Installation & Maintenance operations in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems, including ductwork, refrigeration lines, and control systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance checks, cleaning, and tune-ups on a variety of HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, replacing faulty components as needed.
• Test installed systems to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and safety compliance.
• Provide clients with clear explanations of work performed and recommendations for system care and upgrades.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, inventory, and work completed using company software.

Requirements

• Proven experience in HVAC installation and maintenance, preferably within the Cape Town area.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in HVAC work.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration principles related to HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and installation manuals.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with clients.
• A commitment to adhering to all safety regulations and industry best practices for Installation & Maintenance .
