Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated PR campaigns across various media channels.
• Manage relationships with key media contacts, journalists, and industry influencers in Cape Town.
• Write and edit high-quality press releases, articles, speeches, and social media content.
• Monitor media coverage, analyze results, and report on campaign effectiveness.
• Assist in developing and implementing crisis communication plans as needed.
• Collaborate with marketing and other departments to ensure consistent brand messaging.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of hands‑on experience in public relations or corporate communications.
• Demonstrated success in securing media coverage and managing PR campaigns.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong understanding of media relations, social media, and digital communications.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
