About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and innovative DeFi Protocol Developer to join their forward-thinking team in East London . This role focuses on designing, building, and optimizing decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and applications that operate on blockchain networks. You will be at the heart of financial innovation, working with smart contracts, tokenomics, and advanced programming techniques within the crypto and blockchain ecosystem. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of finance and contribute to groundbreaking projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy secure and efficient DeFi protocols and smart contracts.
Implement complex financial logic, tokenomics, and incentive mechanisms within protocols.
Optimize smart contract performance and gas efficiency for various blockchain networks.
Conduct thorough testing, security audits, and vulnerability assessments of DeFi applications.
Collaborate with product teams to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Stay ahead of the curve on emerging trends and advancements in the Decentralized Finance space.

Requirements

Strong experience in smart contract development , particularly for DeFi applications (e.g., AMMs, lending protocols, yield farming).
Proficiency in Solidity and experience with relevant frameworks (e.g., Hardhat, Truffle).
Deep understanding of financial mathematics, tokenomics, and incentive design in decentralized systems.
Familiarity with blockchain security best practices and common DeFi exploits.
Experience integrating with blockchain oracles and other external data sources.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to development.
