About the Role
Our client requires a detail-oriented Insurance Policy Administrator to manage and maintain policy records at their Centurion office. This role is vital for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all policy documentation, from issuance to renewal and endorsements. You will be responsible for processing policy changes, verifying information, and providing essential support to the sales and claims departments. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills and a commitment to exceptional administrative support within the fast-paced insurance industry, contributing to the smooth operation of the branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Process new insurance policies, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain and update policyholder records in the company's database system.
- Verify the accuracy of information received from clients and sales agents.
- Generate policy documents and other correspondence for clients and internal departments.
- Provide administrative support to the underwriting and claims teams as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all company procedures and regulatory requirements related to policy administration.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in administration or insurance is a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within the insurance sector.
- Strong data entry skills and proficiency with office software (e.g., MS Office Suite).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with internal teams.
