About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Management Consultant with a specialization in Operations Improvement for their team based in Port Elizabeth . In this role, you will partner with clients to optimize their operational processes, enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall productivity. You will analyze current operational workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement best practices and innovative solutions. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of lean principles and process optimization, and the ability to drive change within complex organizations. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing client competitiveness and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze client operational processes, supply chains, and production systems to identify areas for optimization.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Utilize process mapping, value stream analysis, and other methodologies to redesign workflows.
- Manage implementation projects, ensuring successful integration of new operational procedures.
- Provide training and coaching to client teams on new operational standards and methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in operations consulting, process improvement, or supply chain management.
- Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
