Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable telecommunications networks, including LAN, WAN, and wireless technologies.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement proactive solutions to minimize downtime and ensure service continuity.
• Develop and implement network security measures to protect against cyber threats and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and project management, to define network requirements and deliver solutions.
• Stay abreast of emerging network technologies and industry best practices, recommending and implementing improvements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers, fostering a culture of learning and excellence within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in telecoms network engineering , with a proven track record in network design and implementation.
• In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), switching technologies, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Hands‑on experience with network monitoring tools, packet analysis, and performance tuning.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
