About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and energetic Retail Floor Supervisor to oversee daily operations and customer engagement at their store in Polokwane. This role involves guiding the sales team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining the presentation and functionality of the sales floor. You will be responsible for deputizing for the Store Manager and ensuring that all sales targets and operational standards are met consistently. This is a key position within the retail landscape of Limpopo, offering a chance to develop leadership skills in a customer-centric environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the activities of retail sales associates on the floor.
• Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times.
• Monitor sales performance and assist in implementing strategies to achieve targets.
• Oversee stock replenishment, visual merchandising, and store cleanliness.
• Assist with staff training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Handle customer issues and complaints, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail supervisory role or as a senior sales associate.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to drive sales and provide outstanding customer service.
• Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management and POS systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, in Polokwane.
