About the Role

Our client is looking for a reliable and experienced Nanny and Childcare Provider to care for young children in their family home in Cape Town . This role involves providing a safe, stimulating, and caring environment, ensuring the well-being and development of the children under your supervision. You will be responsible for daily routines, engaging activities, meal preparation, and maintaining a tidy play area. The ideal candidate is patient, energetic, and passionate about childcare, offering consistent support and care that aligns with the family's values and the children's developmental needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for children aged (specify age range, e.g., 1-5 years old) ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and engage children in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, both indoors and outdoors.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children according to dietary guidelines.
• Assist with children's daily routines, including bathing, dressing, and nap times.
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding the children's activities, progress, and any concerns.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a nanny, caregiver, or childcare provider, with verifiable references.
• Knowledge of child development stages and age-appropriate care practices.
• First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
• Ability to create a positive, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
• Patience, reliability, excellent communication skills, and a genuine love for children.
