Senior Product Manager - Sports Technology

About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and results-driven Senior Product Manager to spearhead the development of cutting-edge sports technology solutions from their Pretoria hub. This role is integral to defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for their next generation of sports performance tools and platforms. You will work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and data science, in a fully remote capacity to deliver products that empower athletes and sports organizations. Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and detailed roadmap for sports technology products.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and unmet needs in the sports tech industry.
• Translate user needs and business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories.
• Prioritize product backlog and manage the product development lifecycle from concept to launch.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on product features.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a significant portion focused on technology products .
• Demonstrated experience in defining and launching successful software products, preferably in the sports or performance analytics domain.
• Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and product lifecycle management.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, collaborative environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
