The Solution Architect is responsible for designing, governing, and evolving the overall architecture of complex software systems. Operating at a Master-level seniority, this role makes high-level decisions on technologies, frameworks, and system integrations to ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and maintainable.

The architect plays a critical leadership role, bridging business strategy and technical execution while guiding delivery teams through complex implementation challenges.

Define and evolve enterprise and solution architectures across multiple platforms and domains

Design scalable, reliable, secure, and maintainable system architectures

Establish and enforce technical standards, architecture principles, and governance frameworks

Lead architecture reviews and provide guidance across delivery teams

Define and evolve solution and system architecture across enterprise platforms

Make high-level architectural decisions on technology stacks, frameworks, and integration patterns

Establish and enforce technical standards, architecture principles, and governance frameworks

Ensure system designs meet scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainability requirements

Guide engineering teams during implementation and resolve complex technical issues

Lead architecture reviews and provide oversight across multiple initiatives

Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their relevance to business objectives

Drive technology roadmaps, modernisation initiatives, and long-term architectural vision

Collaborate with business, product, and engineering stakeholders to ensure alignment

Mentor senior engineers and architects, raising overall architectural maturity

Required Skills & Experience

Extensive experience as a Solution Architect / Software Architect in complex environments

Strong expertise in:

Distributed systems and microservices architecture

Integration patterns (APIs, event-driven architectures)

Security, performance, and scalability design

Proven experience establishing architecture governance and standards

Ability to balance strategic vision with practical delivery

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Desirable Qualifications

Architecture certifications (e.g. TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect)

Background in DevOps, CI/CD, or cloud-native platforms
