About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop integrated water resource management plans, including supply, distribution, and wastewater systems.
• Conduct hydrological studies, water quality analyses, and environmental impact assessments for water-related projects.
• Utilize modeling software to simulate water flow, predict system performance, and optimize water resource allocation.
• Develop strategies for sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS), water conservation, and rainwater harvesting.
• Prepare technical reports, design documents, and tender specifications for water infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with municipal authorities, environmental agencies, and community stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of water management strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Civil Engineering with a specialization.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in water resource management, water infrastructure design, or environmental engineering.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is preferred.
• Proficiency in hydrological and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, EPANET, SWMM).
• Strong understanding of water treatment processes, distribution networks, and environmental regulations governing water resources.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
