About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous Electronics Repair Technician to join their technical services team in Polokwane . This position focuses on the diagnosis, repair, and refurbishment of various electronic devices, including consumer electronics, audio-visual equipment, and small appliances. You will work in a workshop environment, utilizing specialized tools and testing equipment to identify and resolve complex electronic faults. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of electronic components, circuits, and diagnostic procedures, coupled with excellent problem-solving skills. This role is vital for ensuring the longevity and functionality of electronic goods for customers in Limpopo.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose hardware and software issues in electronic devices.
• Perform component-level repairs on circuit boards and electronic assemblies.
• Replace faulty components such as capacitors, resistors, transistors, and integrated circuits.
• Test repaired devices to ensure they meet performance and quality standards.
• Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and repair supplies.
• Document all repair processes, parts used, and time taken for each job.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electronics Repair Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electronic components, circuit diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proficiency with soldering equipment, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools.
• Ability to identify and source electronic parts effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• A diploma or certification in Electronics Engineering or a related field is preferred.
