HOUSE MANAGER | UHNW PRIVATE RESIDENCE | SOUTH AFRICA

Kendrick Recruitment is looking for an exceptional House Manager to join a high-profile private household. We are seeking a polished, discreet hospitality professional ready to transition from luxury hotel or lodge operations into a premium private-household leadership role, with long-term growth potential.

Salary: R15,500 with growth potential; Location: Johannesburg, South Africa; Private Residence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the private residence
• Manage household staff, schedules, standards, and service delivery
• Coordinate housekeeping, F&B, events, and guest requirements
• Ensure exceptional five-star-plus standards across the household
• Manage suppliers, stock, household logistics, and operational requirements
• Assist with travel planning and arrangements for the principals
• Support and accompany the principal’s wife when required
• Anticipate needs and manage requests with absolute discretion
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times

REQUIREMENTS

• Hospitality Management qualification from a recognised hotel school
• 3–5 years’ experience in a 5-star-plus boutique hotel or luxury lodge
• Cross-departmental experience across housekeeping, F&B, and events
• Previous supervisory or management-level experience essential
• Confident operating to exceptional luxury service standards
• Multilingual advantageous
• Valid driver’s licence and passport essential
• Strong references and impeccable professional track record
