About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Operations Specialist to join their expanding team, operating fully remotely. This role is fundamental to managing the day-to-day logistics activities, ensuring the efficient flow of goods and information across the supply chain. You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing carrier relationships, and resolving operational challenges to maintain high service levels. This position requires a proactive approach, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a remote work environment, leveraging technology to drive seamless operations and deliver value to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of inbound and outbound logistics operations from a remote setting.
• Coordinate with freight carriers, third-party logistics providers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
• Monitor shipment status, track assets, and proactively resolve any logistical bottlenecks or delays.
• Manage documentation, including shipping manifests, customs forms, and proof of delivery.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, measure performance against KPIs, and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain strong relationships with carriers and suppliers to ensure competitive rates and reliable service.

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics operations , supply chain management, or transportation.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding , shipping procedures, and international trade regulations.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) .
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, essential for remote collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote environment.
