Quality Assurance Inspector - Aviation Manufacturing

About the Role

Our client, a key player in aviation manufacturing , is seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Inspector to join their production facility in Klerksdorp . This role is paramount in ensuring that all manufactured components and assemblies meet the stringent quality standards and specifications required by the aerospace industry. You will conduct detailed inspections, document findings, and collaborate with production teams to uphold the highest levels of product integrity and safety in the North West region.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished aviation products.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to verify conformance to specifications.
• Document inspection results, identify non-conformities, and report findings to the Quality Manager.
• Verify that all manufacturing processes adhere to established quality control procedures and aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100).
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate quality records and ensure traceability of materials and processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector, preferably within the aerospace or aviation manufacturing sector.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and quality standards.
• Experience with various inspection tools and techniques, including CMMs and non‑destructive testing (NDT) methods if applicable.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and aerospace regulatory requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills for identifying potential defects.
• Ability to work effectively within a manufacturing team environment in Klerksdorp
