Remote Procurement Specialist - Sourcing

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a strategic and experienced Remote Procurement Specialist with a focus on Sourcing to join their distributed team, ideally connected to East London . This role is critical for identifying, evaluating, and securing new suppliers globally, negotiating advantageous terms, and developing robust sourcing strategies. You will play a key role in ensuring the company achieves its cost-saving and quality objectives through effective supplier partnerships. This is a fully remote position offering significant autonomy and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the company's supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify potential new suppliers and market opportunities.
• Lead sourcing initiatives, including RFx processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ), supplier selection, and onboarding.
• Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements with key suppliers to maximize value.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified suppliers across various spend categories.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their strategic sourcing needs and ensure alignment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing and procurement.
• Proven success in developing and executing global sourcing strategies.
• Expertise in contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, and risk mitigation.
• Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling for sourcing decisions.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, effective in a remote setting.
