Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote counselling and emotional support to individuals and families experiencing social or personal challenges.
• Conduct comprehensive needs assessments via video calls, phone, and secure messaging platforms.
• Develop and implement personalized support plans tailored to individual client needs and circumstances.
• Facilitate connections to relevant online and offline resources, including government services, support groups, and healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and secure digital client records in compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external partners through virtual channels to ensure integrated client care.

Requirements

• A degree in Social Work , Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.
• Professional registration with the relevant South African council (e.g., SACSSSP, HPCSA) is required.
• Proven experience in providing direct client support, counselling, or case management.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote work environment, with strong self-discipline and time management skills.
• Proficiency with virtual communication tools, telehealth platforms , and digital record-keeping systems.
• Excellent active listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
