Senior Construction Project Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee a diverse range of building projects in Midrand, Gauteng . This pivotal role involves managing all phases of the construction lifecycle, from initial planning and design through to final completion and handover. You will be instrumental in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, fostering a collaborative environment with stakeholders, site teams, and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget forecasts for construction projects.
• Manage and coordinate all on-site activities, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
• Oversee and manage all subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring performance.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor project status and resolve any issues promptly.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients, detailing progress, risks, and financial performance.
• Ensure all project documentation, permits, and licenses are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in construction project management , with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building systems, and relevant regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders effectively.
