About the Role

Our client is seeking a proficient Senior Network Engineer to join their team in East London . You will be responsible for complex network configurations and troubleshooting, playing a key role in maintaining and upgrading the network to support business objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy enterprise-level network solutions, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Implement and manage network security measures, including VPNs, access control lists, and intrusion detection systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network connectivity and performance problems efficiently.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure network infrastructure effectively supports business applications and services.
• Maintain detailed network documentation, standards, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in network engineering and administration.
• Strong expertise in routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies.
• Hands-on experience with network security devices and best practices.
• Proficiency in using network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP or equivalent experience are preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
