Food & Beverage Director

About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary and experienced Food & Beverage Director to lead their extensive food and beverage operations in Polokwane . You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the F&B department, including restaurants, bars, banqueting, and room service, ensuring profitability, exceptional service quality, and innovative offerings. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for culinary excellence and a proven ability to manage complex operations and diverse teams. You will drive revenue growth, control costs, and maintain the highest standards of guest satisfaction, contributing to the overall success and reputation of the establishment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all food and beverage outlets, ensuring consistent quality and service delivery.
• Develop and implement innovative menus and beverage programs.
• Manage F&B budgets, forecasts, and profitability, controlling costs effectively.
• Lead, train, and mentor the F&B team to achieve high performance standards.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams on promotions and events.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior Food & Beverage management roles.
• Extensive knowledge of culinary trends, wine, and spirits.
• Proven experience in managing P&Ls, budgeting, and cost control.
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Excellent understanding of hygiene and safety standards in the F&B industry.
• A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts is preferred.
