Junior Architect

About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Junior Architect to join their vibrant studio in Port Elizabeth . This is an ideal position for a recent graduate or early-career architect eager to learn and grow within a supportive team environment. You will gain hands-on experience across all project stages, from initial concept design to construction documentation, working under the guidance of experienced architects. Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior architects in developing design concepts and preparing presentation materials.
• Produce detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and sections using CAD software.
• Participate in site visits and assist with construction administration tasks.
• Research materials, building systems, and regulatory requirements for projects.
• Collaborate with team members on design development and technical documentation.
• Support the team in coordinating with consultants and stakeholders as required.

Requirements

• B.Arch or M.Arch degree from an accredited institution.
• Enthusiasm for architecture and a strong desire to learn and develop professionally.
• Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD , Revit, and SketchUp.
• Basic understanding of South African building regulations and construction processes.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
