Commercial Litigation Lawyer

Our client is seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join their established legal firm in Klerksdorp . This role focuses on representing clients in complex commercial disputes, including contractual disagreements, shareholder disputes, and insolvency matters. You will manage cases from inception through to resolution, including trial advocacy. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong courtroom presence and a commitment to achieving favorable outcomes for clients. Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of commercial litigation matters, from initial assessment to final resolution.
• Draft and file all necessary court documents, including summonses, notices of motion, and affidavits.
• Conduct discovery, including interrogatories, requests for documents, and examinations.
• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
• Advise clients on legal strategies and potential outcomes of their disputes.
• Stay abreast of relevant case law and legislative changes affecting commercial litigation.

Requirements

• Admitted Attorney with a minimum of 5 years' experience specifically in commercial litigation .
• Proven track record of successfully handling complex disputes and advocacy in various forums.
• Strong understanding of civil procedure and evidence law.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage client relationships and expectations effectively.
