About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Architectural Drafter to join their growing team in Rustenburg . This entry-level position is perfect for an individual with a foundational understanding of architectural drafting and a passion for the built environment. You will assist senior architects and technologists in producing precise technical drawings and documentation for a range of construction projects. Working within a supportive setting in the North West province, you will gain invaluable hands‑on experience, develop your technical skills, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects. We are looking for someone eager to learn and grow within a professional architectural practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of detailed architectural drawings, plans, and elevations using CAD software.
• Update and maintain existing architectural drawings and documentation.
• Perform basic drafting tasks, including linework, dimensioning, and annotation.
• Support senior staff in creating presentation materials and 3D models.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure accuracy and consistency in all drafted documents.
• Learn and apply drafting standards and best practices as guided by senior drafters and architects.

Requirements

• National Diploma or equivalent in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Basic understanding of architectural design principles and construction methods.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; experience with Revit is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all drafted work.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions carefully.
• Eagerness to learn and develop technical drafting skills.
