About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and organized Real Estate Property Manager to oversee their diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties in Port Elizabeth . This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation and profitability of managed properties, maintaining positive tenant relationships, and overseeing property maintenance and financial administration. You will be the primary point of contact for tenants and property owners, ensuring high standards of service and property upkeep in the Eastern Cape region. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a thorough understanding of property management best practices and legislation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of a portfolio of real estate properties , ensuring tenant satisfaction and property condition.
• Oversee property maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects, coordinating with vendors and contractors.
• Handle tenant relations, including lease enforcement, issue resolution, and rent collection.
• Conduct regular property inspections and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and building codes.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including budgets, variance analysis, and rent roll reconciliations for property owners.
• Market vacant units, screen prospective tenants, and manage the leasing process for properties in Port Elizabeth .

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Property Manager or in a similar role within the real estate sector.
• In-depth knowledge of property management principles, tenant-landlord laws, and fair housing regulations in South Africa .
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in property management software and standard office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple properties and prioritize tasks effectively.
• A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for property visits.
