About the Role

Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Retail Manager to lead their flagship store in Cape Town. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including staff management, sales performance, inventory control, and customer experience. This is a leadership role requiring a strategic mindset, exceptional people skills, and a proven track record in retail management. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate a team of retail staff, providing ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve store revenue targets and maximize profitability.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stock control to minimize shrinkage.
• Ensure an outstanding customer experience, addressing customer feedback and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, with a proven history of driving sales growth.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and motivational skills.
• Excellent understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail management software.
• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
